Can I ask – when did you last update your website?

Keeping your website current can be a tedious task (I know – I have to do a lot of them!).

However, it is incredibly important for two key reasons; firstly, an out of date website looks appalling to a potential new client. Basically, it tells them that you are not putting the effort into keeping your website current, which is like saying “Sorry, this website is not important Mr. Customer – check somewhere else!”

And secondly, part of your Google ranking is based on how much fresh content goes on to your site, so it’s vital that you keep your site fresh looking.

If you can get into the habit of spending just 30 minutes a week either adding some new material such as a short blog or updating parts of your website, you will find the benefits far outweigh the pain.
